trust God

i just sat through a 4+ hour board meeting at work.

z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z

and i took my knitting since i figured most of the meeting would not pertain to me, and my input would not necessarily be needed. and can you believe i lost one of my little stitch markers?! totally disappeared from the face of the earth. i keep losing those little critters!! i'm glad i bought the cheap ones instead of the fancy, expensive ones.

so at that point i stopped knitting.

it was good to be there. it was interesting to see how the board of directors functions. i learned stuff from some of the input different individuals gave. i do have some anxiety about the transitions our ministry is going through and will be going through in the coming year. and at the same time, i know this is God's ministry so all i really need to do is relax and trust God.

trust God.

it's so simple to know but sometimes hard to do. my brain would rather get all in a tizzy and make me miserable... instead of just "be still" and trust God.
