everything and nothing

there's nothing much new going on with us. and yet we are overwhelmed and mostly just plain tired. and therefore we pretty much enjoy any "free" time we have to just sit at home on the sofa doing nothing (mind you, there isn't a whole lot of this precious "sofa time" to be had). he started his new job, jumped right into the chaos, and is trying to get the hang of things. i'm into my semester and feeling the pressure already. i'm debating about dropping this history class to take later... or i might just suck it up and get it over with... and have no life whatsoever for the next 4 months... and probably no sleep either.

the rochester marathon (http://www.rochestermarathon.com/) is this sunday. we still need volunteers. if you'd like to help please contact me. i'm looking forward to this event. i've volunteered the past 3 years now. (i'm developing a nice collection of bright orange voluneer t-shirts!) my body has no desire to run a full marathon, so these people amaze me. and i'm glad to do something for the community where i live. a late part of the course actually runs thru the park near my home, but i'm usually stationed out around mile 8-10.

i'll really need to crack down & get homework done before sunday.

and whenever i can, i'm trying to get knitting done on this purse project. it's not the priority that homework is. it's just an obsession. :-) must. finish. knitting.
