I'm sick. Not the flu, thankfully; just a cold. But still. Ick.
One of our trees decided to drop all of its leaves in the past 2-3 days. fwoop! Naked tree. Most of the trees on our property are still green, but one has some pretty red popping out. I'm surprised by the one that shed its leaves already.
I picked the last few green tomatoes off my plants. Hope they'll ripen & be edible. I didn't get a lot of tomatoes, but not bad for a first-timer.
My lil cougar turned over 90,000 miles this week. It kinda makes me sad, because she's getting to be an old car. But I really think she still has a lot of life left in her. I take good care of her (I have an awesome mechanic -- Brian Horn & his guys). And she is definitely more well-built than other cars I've owned (ha, the cavalier with the aluminum head... duh! Chevy, what were you thinking?!!). I'm hoping she'll last another 90,000 miles... Now that's optimism! I love my car.
Sweet P is at a conference this weekend... somehow library/information science related. Three weekends in a row, he'll be missing. I miss seeing him. At any rate, I think I'm headed to the early church service instead of the later one. Then head south to visit a doggie friend who is home alone for the week. Poor baby. She needs a good long walk. I hope the rain stays away.
