Write a Valentine

Yay me! I got a "bravo" for keeping track of my victories last week. The challenge this week is to write myself a valentine, make time for myself, take care of myself. If I were to be honest, I feel rather betrayed by my body lately. I don't have a lot of love for it. I find it hard to write myself a valentine.

Along the lines of making time for myself, this is tricky. I'm about maxed out for time. I'm working long days, taking classes (arguably the class is "me time", but it feels like Dr. K's time), trying to squeeze in some exercise time and Bible reading time.

Nevertheless, this is the challenge, the mission for the week.

And the results...

I spent time at work, time at school, time with homework, time with my honey, time knitting, time with the book group, time at church, time exercising, time with family. I guess it was a pretty good week as far as how I spent my time.

The other part of the challenge, I wrote a valentine to myself. I'm deciding not to share it here, but I'm taking it to my meeting tonight. Perhaps I'll get another bravo. I'm pretty sure I won't be setting any records for weight loss. So frustrating being stuck, nevertheless, I must press on.
