little victories

I'm supposed to keep track of victories this week. This is supposed to be a motivational exercise.

Day 1: ran the 1.5 mile loop with 3 walk breaks. it felt great!
Day 3: another run. 1.5 mi loop. 3 shorter walk breaks.
and shovelled snow at home
and shovelled snow at work
lotsa "activity" today.
Day 4: no mindless snacking at work this week. Something positive to mention.
Day 5: another run. yay me!

So, those are my "victories", such as they are. I must add that I also had some disappointments, setbacks. Overall, not a great week. Recording the victories was supposed to be motivational, and I think it helped, but knowing that I failed at times was un-motivating. So I would call this week a "null".

Along with that, I didn't lose any weight. This is an un-motivating fact, but at least it wasn't a gain. Just a big, fat zero.

At least I'm back to running. For as long as my creaky, old body will allow.
