i was totally enjoying "random" play on my ipod yesterday while i was cooking. especially a little poe and lucinda williams. little bit of everything.
If you could be anyone, who would you be and why?
you know, i am very content being me. i wouldn't always have said that. not that i wanted to be someone else, but a different version of me, a little taller, a little smarter, doing something more meaningful with my life. but in recent years, i've become content with who i am. but if you ask me who i would like to meet, i would have to say "heroes of the faith", whether early church members in jerusalem or antioch, or the underground church in china or russia. i'd love to have a conversation with some of those people.

Care to share some wisdom?
whenever i have a "down" day or things aren't going right, i make a list of all of the good things in my life and thank God for those things.
What may surprise us about you?
i'm not sure what about me surprises other people. one of the things that surprises me about my life is that i got married. i was afraid of the idea of getting married -- afraid of marrying the wrong person and being miserable. i was very content being single. but the amazing thing is when you find the right person, you just connect with each other, and it is so natural to walk this road together. i'm very glad i married Sweet P, but i'm very surprised to be in this position called "wife".
