i feel productive

this weekend, i finished the main "bag" part of my sweater bag project. yay!! now i'm working on the strap. can you believe i ran out of yarn? so we made a trip to the yarn store this weekend and now i am all set. i also bought yarn for a christmas present crochet project. i can't wait to finish the shoulder strap and sew this baby up so i can use it!! i'm almost there!

i also baked pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. they are so good! very moist. not too grotesquely orange in color. i made a pumpkin bread one time that was just a really weird shade of orange--not too appealing. but these cookies were not the same case. i don't remember where i got this recipe, but it is definitely a keeper!

ah, the rest of the weekend was typical stuff. hiking @ mendon was nice. i love the crunchiness of the leaves on the trail. laundry was laundry. church was church. homework was homework. kinda confusing at times. i'm glad to have such a brilliant husband who lets be bounce problems off of him. and he usually has some good insight. how does he know so much stuff?!
