Gingerhearts
So, I started working at Michaels Arts and Crafts back in June, I think. I like it, pretty much. It is hard working and doing the college thing, but I'm thankful for both opportunities. It seems like after each holiday (or season) Michaels puts the seasonal trinkets that are left on the shelf into grab bags, which sell for $2. I decided to take a gamble and grab a bag. It was certainly worth the $2 for the Christmas ribbons. Rolls that sell for $5 or more apiece, and I got about a dozen of them. I also got 2 "gingerbread" kits. And today I made one up, but instead of making snowman or santas on the cookies, I made hearts for valentine's day. Fortunately, the cookies are not stale, nor were they broken. I'm going to mail them to my lil nieces and nephews. So pleased with having an hour of fun, between the drudgery of homework assignments. And I'm pleased that it wasn't a box of crumbs in my $2 grab bag!
