* I'm only working 2 days this week, and then I'm on vacation!
* Finally got to meet the finacee of a friend who is getting married in August. I like her, upon our brief meeting. I'm glad they'll be hitched in August. And I greatly enjoyed the fireworks her family put on for us. What a nice, relaxing evening.
* Ordered a book from amazon.com for $5. Can't beat that with a stick! Watching the mail...
* Leaving Friday for Chicago! I love roadtrips! I'm hoping that this will be a good trip for SweetP & me together. Our last adventure in Pennsylvania was stressful & exhausting. But Rhode Island was good. This could totally go either way... ha ha ha... It will be wonderful. I'm oozing optimism all over the place!! And I just KNOW that he'll have job interviews & job offers. And I will do NOTHING except reading or knitting in the local starbucks, visiting tourist shops on Michigan Ave, zydeco music in Grant Park, maybe a museum and/or the "bean" sculpture... A real vacation! Wowee-zowee! I know Chicago can't possibly be cooler than Reykjavik, but it will do. ;-)
