welcome to my blog

So I'm re-starting a blog. I figured I would start with a little bit about me. I was blogging on myspace, but that had some limitations. Seeing all of the cool things my friends can do with their blogs over here, I decided to give it a try.

My purpose for this blog is not extremely focused. Of course it is a forum to express myself. Sometimes I rant about work, sometimes I love on my husband, sometimes I wonder at things I see in the world. Sometimes I feel like discussing my weight loss journey, my running progress, that sort of thing. But lately those things are in transition as I am dealing with arthritis in my knee. Not a very happy topic. I may post some pictures on occasion, interesting things I see in the course of my travels or glimpses of attempts at domesticity.

I'm recently married to a sweet, sweet man. I love him very much and I am very loved. We're so glad we found each other.

I do a little bit of this and a little bit of that for a fantastic non-profit, and I love my job. At the same time, I am back in school, learning more about accounting. Yeah, I'm crazy.

We live in a city. We attend a local Baptist church. I am a sinner saved by grace, amazed by God, and try to serve Him and worship Him every day. I fall and I fail, but I'm a child of God nonetheless.

I love family; I love being an aunt. Our family is getting bigger all the time, but no kids for us. We have some pet rocks & a pet soccer ball--"pets" that require no maintenance. I like animals, but it's not practical for us to have any.

So, this is just a little about me. I hope some people will find this blog entertaining. We shall see how it all comes together.
